- Bats: Right Handed
- Bowls: Right Arm Fast
- Role: All Rounder
- Nickname: Jason Holder
The Tridents skipper will lead the title defence after guiding his team to their second title. Jason Holder is a man of many talents. Apart from bowling fast-medium, and batting lower down the order, he captains the West Indies national team in Tests. He was first appointed skipper when he was only 23-years-old. He captained the Windies in the 2015 World Cup, and was part of the squad that won the 2016 World T20.
Holder is known for his gritty batting and his consistent bowling. Early in 2019, captaining the Windies in a Test match vs England at Barbados, he scored a memorable double hundred at his hometown, the first double hundred by a Windies player since 2014. As a bowler, he is only the second Windies bowler to get 10+ wickets in a Test match since 2010. In ODIs, he is amongst five Windies players to score 1000 runs and pick up 100 wickets.
Jason Holder was one of four players that Barbados Tridents retained before the 2020 CPL draft. He repaid the faith by leading the team to their second title.
